Application Process

Step 1

Florida Marriage License for Destination Weddings to Florida
Complete the online application.
Anyone issued a Social Security Card must provide their number. If either applicant has been previously married, the exact date of the last divorce, death or annulment must be provided.  Please be very careful in making sure that the information is accurate.  Any changes to the license will incur a $50.00 fee to re-issue the license.

Step 2

Send up a copy of your valid picture ID.
One (1) valid identification is required with the applicant’s picture, signature, and date of birth, a Driver License issued by any state in the U.S., Passport, a U.S. Military ID, Alien Registration Card, or State of Florida ID issued by DMV are acceptable.  Non-U.S. Citizens may provide one of the following valid Identifications:  Alien Registration Card, US State issued Driver’s License, or Passport if they do not have a Social Security Number.

Step 3

Make the payment.

Once we receive the above we will begin to process your Florida Marriage License.  Please note that the fees are non-refundable.   You will receive an email from us with detailed information on the next steps required to complete the process.  The license will require notarization of your signatures.  In the US this is a simple and inexpensive process.  For our international customers the service can be pricey, so keep that in mind when calculating expenses.

Once the license is completed and issued, we will mail the license to your officiant.  After the ceremony, your officiant has 10 days to mail the license back to the County courthouse for filing.  After it is filed the county will send you a certified copy in about 3-4 weeks.  You can check the status of your license here:
